In my attempt to expand my baking range, I have made a classic: Chocolate Cake.
I`ve gotten good feedback from this. Apparently it`s really nice and chocolately and quite moist as well. Good for first time. As you can see from the picture, I powdered it with powdered sugar at the end. It also has chocolate chips but to make sure it wasn`t completely overpowering, I used semi-sweet chocolate chips. If you`re even less enthusiastic about it being sweet, use dark! Works either way.
One advice I have for using bundt pans is that
1. Make sure to really really grease it. When you flip it over, you want it to fall out with ease.
2. To really make sure it doesn`t stick, powder the pan with cocoa powder (for chocolate cake) to make it fall out even easier than with just greasing the pan. The cocoa will match the color of the chocolate cake. If making a different cake, use flour.
3. Make sure the cake sits in the bundt pan for 30 min - 1 hour after taking it out from the oven before flipping.
