Lately I`ve become terribly and utterly obsessed with the Chobani Greek yogurt. First one I`ve tried was the passion fruit which wasn`t bad except for the seeds. I`ve gone through quite a few already, my son loves it although I didn`t think he would but since he loves sour cream I guess it makes sense.
anyways, today I decided to try it out in smoothie form so I bought a big tub of the plain flavor one (for more than one reason which will be revealed later), I added some of my favorite frozen fruit mix from Costco - it has mango, pineapple, papaya & strawberry. anyways, I used about a cup of fruit, maybe 1/2 a cup of the Chobani, a touch of 2% milk (I normally use apple juice) and I put that yummy mix into my little GE wanna be bullet I picked up at Walmart well over a year ago. the result ?? an extremely thick and smooth, tarte and not overly sweet peach color smoothie. you can really taste the yogurt which I don`t mind at all. I`m thinking next time I`ll throw some honey to sweeten it up a bit but overall, I`m very happy with the result, great to have on a warm day like today.
Nutritional info - now this is according to myfitnesspal and I actually use the scanner to add my ingredients so I`d say it`s pretty accurate.
