Chirashi Bowl [Sushi] | Akasaka Restaurant

For my birthday a week ago, my very close friend took me out to a sushi joint because she knows I L-O-V-E sushi, sashimi, and any type of that sort. This visit I decided to order something different because it was a special day. I didn`t order the typical sashimi or rolls but a CHIRASHI Bowl.

Chirashi, also called chirashizushi, is one of my favorite thing to order but I don`t order it too often because it is pricy. The word chirashi means "scattered" which makes sense because the bowl is basically a bowl of rice mixed with a variety of raw fish. I really like this dish because not only is it delicious it`s super filling.

The one I ordered has Salmon, Albacore, Tuna, Yellowtail, Smelt, Salmon Roe, Monk Fish liver, Uni, etc. The rice is super good and I love this place because it has such thick slices of fresh delicious fish! I`m so in love with this dish.

I have also shared the Yelp page to this restaruant if anyone would like to try Chirashi bowl and is in the area Hacienda Heights I would definitely recommend this place!!

Have you had Chirashi Bowl? Do you like it? Would you want to try it?
