Chinese Rice Casserole

One of the staples of Hong Kong food. This pot of rice filled with meat and egg is so satisfying. You can try eating this all by yourself or have it with another person. The rice is cooked inside the pot over open fire and then toppings are placed on top when the rice is almost done cooking. This form of cooking takes a lot of technique as well as timing. The toppings are endless, you can have different kinds of meat or just vegetables on top. And when it`s ready to eat, put some soy sauce over it and it`s a wonderful concoction. When you get to the bottom, don`t neglect the crust because the rice has harden into a crunchy shell. Delicious!
