I attended my friends wedding yesterday and they had quite a menu -- 10 entrees but I only captured 3 photos because the food kept going out like crazy and everyone was digging in the food.
What I was able to capture:
Shark/Seafood Soup - this is a very popular soup served at weddings and in general at Chinese restaurants, this is an luxury item. I`m not sure if it`s shark(?) since they banned that I believe.
Fried Lobster - another popular dish - fried lobster and the garlic bits is the best part especially with rice!
Cold Meat Platter - this platter contained all sorts of meats that are cold (various of Vietnamese hams)
Other foods we had (not shown):
Fried cat fish
Birds Nest Noodles
Fried Rice/White Rice
Overall: The newly weds kept the menu strictly/mainly seafood - the food was all really good. :)
What are typical wedding entrees served at weddings you attend? In my experience for Asian weddings -- typically fried cat fish, lobster, fried rice and for Asian-Americanized weddings -- typically fish, shrimp, steak. How about you?
