This is the world`s first twin hull cruise ship (<em>for some reason I keep spelling ship = shrimp in this entire post that I had to keep backspacing to fix to "SHIP"</em>) also this is China`s first cruise ship to set sail. The cruise ship is called <strong>China Star</strong> formerly known as Asia Star. The ship is 131 meters long, 295 tons and for first days of sail there will be a capacity of about 400 people (200 passengers/200 crews). The ship already sailed for the first time a few days ago on March 8, 2012 around South China Sea. Next stop will be to Taiwan.
<Strong>What features does this cruise ship have?</strong>
1 The newly renovated "China Star" Cruise Ship and world`s first twin cruise ship!
2 VIP Suite - Look how luxurious that room is!
3 Restaurant - Typical Chinese Restaurant style set up
4 Open bar
5 Foot massage room
6 Swimming pool
7 Night view of the ship
<strong>How much are fares?</strong>
Since this is a newly established cruise no dates have been planned yet but fare is anywhere between $188 - $1,092 depending on where the cruise is planning to head/days/and so forth.
Plans for this ship is to sail around Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Vietnam.
<strong>What do you think of this cruise ship?</strong> I think it looks really nice and luxurious but they should include more features besides restaurant/bar/massage. Is there any night entertainment, dancing, suitable for kids? I guess since it`s new it`s still in the making/planning. In the future China hopes to purchase two or three 1,500 passenger cruise vessels to expand the business!
