Ahh just look at those cuticles. They`re as dry as dry can get. I was doing the whole pushing back cuticle step before I polished my nails and didn`t bother to moisturise my cuticles after I did. So they ended up with how they look in my photos. Messy. Since the start of the year I`ve been feeling to wear those soft, bright, springy/summery shades. I guess it`s because spring is not too far round the corner so I was looking forward to this one.
China Glaze`s Light as air is a soft lavender creme from their Up and away collection. It`s not a unique colour because if anyone recalls one of my posts, I`ve blogged about Essie`s Lilacism which I think both look similar. I haven`t put them side by side and took a good look at how they compare to each other though.
With this one two coats would be good enough, one is streaky as usual and everything seems to even itself out after two. I did notice some air bubbles after which hardly happens but seeing the air bubbles in the bottle, I figure it might be the formulas problem. Doesn`t bother me so much though.
The formulas good, the colours great but having and trying Essie`s lilacism first I didn`t feel too excited wearing this. I say you could get one or the other because they`re not far from each other but if like me you want everything even if they look alike then go ahead and get both LOL
Ahh it`s 4.30am here and I`m still awake. Must. Go. Sleep. Now. @__@
What do you guys think of my NOTW? Do you own or would you purchase this colour?
