well, this one is out there for these dupe posts but I`ll do it anyways lol China Glaze Luxe & Lush is from the limited Hunger Games collection which had me going crazy because I just loved it all so much and Essie Shine of the Times was released as part of the holiday collection so I`m not too sure if it`s LE as well, but I thought they looked close enough to compare
Luxe & Lush is a clear base with rather large flecks actually, it can flash green, gold, blue, orange and a few other shades, a lot of it having to do with the base color of your choice. Shine of the Times looks like it has a yellowish base, the flecks are way smaller than Luxe & Lush and it seems to flash just about the same colors as Luxe & Lush. I blurred the pic to see the flakes a little better if that makes sense lol
now strangely enough, when I swatched them both against the white background, Luxe & Lush has quite visible flakes, a clear base and good flashes of green, blue, purple and gold, whereas Shine of the Times seems to be a pink/green duo chrome and you can`t even see the flakes ! again, in real life, the swatch below tells a different story
are they dupes? ummm no lol granted they`re meant to give you pretty much the same effect but I think the different sizes of the flakes make a huge difference, both equally pretty of course.
