Childhood Snack

Today I went to the store and I have ran in to my childhood snack, which are the cacahuate japones and it means Japanese Peanut in Spanish.

I remember when I was a little girl being woken up by my mom everyday, so we can walk my sister to school. I was to young to attend school and my brother was as well. My mom wouldn`t let us stay at home alone, so we would always go with her wherever she went. Right after we drop off my sister to the front door at her school we would head to the grocery store. I always got excited when my mom would head to the cashier line because the cacahuate japones were right next to the lady working at the store.

The cacahuate japones is basically a peanut that has been roasted and with a crunchy coating. I love the once that have a spicy taste to them, but I could never find them. These cacahuate japones are still good and if I can I would finish them all at once. :p
