I have been enjoying Chicken Parmigiana lately - I seriously need to learn how to make this dish! What is Chicken Parmigiana? An Italian dish made with a shallow or deep-fried sliced chicken, layered with cheese (in this case mozzarella) and tomato sauce (with Buca Di Beppo`s homemade marinara sauce) then baked. The lunch version is more affordable at $10.99 and you have an option for what noodles/side you would like - I chose the spaghetti. I added mozzarella garlic bread for an extra $4.99.
Thoughts? The chicken parmigiana was delicious - the portion size was large so my boyfriend even had some. I didn`t like the spaghetti though (I`m a fan of pastas more than spaghetti but it`s just your average type of spaghetti). As for the mozzarella garlic bread for an extra $4.99 totally not worth it. I would have been happy with cheese sticks from Pizza Hut for $5, at least that tastes cheesier! $4.99 for breadsticks is quite expensive when the meal costs $10.99, I would not get that again, next time I`ll get thee caesar salad for $0.99 extra.
Have you ever dined at Buca Di Beppo? What is your favorite food entree to order from Buca? Any recommendations? I haven`t tried many dishes from Buca, just a few and this is one of my new likes lately!
