Here is another recipe I put together for a low/no carb way of eating.
Braised chicken leg with thigh in a mushroom and white wine gravy
Pan fried cabbage and bacon
The chicken was slowly braised in white wine with mushrooms, garlic and green onions. A little secret ingredient I use is chicken stock (the powder) from Lee brand. I purchase at an Asian food market and it has a flavor unlike any other. In another pan I fried the chopped cabbage with bacon and a little bit of garlic. It was a simple meal but tasted really good.
