For the past few days I have been trying to eat healthier as well as cook for myself more often. I live at home with my parents but they come home late from work and I find myself eating processed food way too often. I haven`t made anything too extravagant as of yet. Just easy and quick items that is filling.
I made myself a <strong>Chicken and Vegetable Wrap</strong>!
~ First, I boiled chicken (I used two tenderloins, taste just the same as chicken breast) and mushrooms (I used pre-prepared sliced mushrooms) separately.
~ Next, I diced 1/2 a small tomato.
~ Then, I warmed up 2 flour tortilla in the oven on low heat for about a minute when the mushrooms and chicken looks about done.
>> After all the preparation is done, I put all the ingredients mentioned above (chicken, mushrooms, and tomatoes) plus lettuce (I used a salad spring mix that has lettuce, spinach, etc.) and low fat shredded cheese together in the flour tortilla!
The heat from the chicken and mushrooms melts the cheese and all the flavors together makes it really delicious without needing any kind of sauce for added flavor.
