Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai is the main city of northern Thailand, and the second largest city in the country, but not really lose that knack of inner city atmosphere with a very quiet, especially compared to the frenetic Bangkok.

The main attraction of Chiang Mai are the temples of vaaarios time of the Lanna kingdom. Legend has it that if you visit nine temples in Chiang Mai, you guarantee prosperity and luck in life.

As the temple is what is not lacking in Chiang Mai, and considering that are all very near each other, I must have visited about 20 of them, ensuring prosperity and luck in this life and in all others.

At the beginning of the visit to Chiang Mai, I even tried to stick to the program, to pinpoint the most important temples to visit and read about its history. But the second temple I had given up the program!

In Chiang Mai I felt like my first time in Rome. Just as in Rome I entered the first church he met along the way, in Chiang Mai, I went into all possible temples wherever he went and was always dazzled by the beauty of the place.

As with the churches in Rome, I have one million pictures of temples in Chiang Mai that I have no clue what they are. Do not bother me to know the name, history, architectural style or anything. I walked in, dazzled me and took the photo. Simple as that.

Someone could tell me what Donald tà doing there?
So the only thing I have to say about Chiang Mai and is a lovely town full of beautiful temples!
