Hey Luuux Foodlings!
On Thursday night, I ate dinner with one of my close friends at The Cheesecake Factory! Although TCF can be a little pricey, I love a lot of the dishes they offer :D A lot of their sandwiches are actually pretty affordable during lunch, and I like how they have some of their dinner dishes as half price, half portion lunch options as well. Well, enough about that, let`s get into what I ate!
Spicy Chicken Chipotle Pasta:
This is one of my favorite dishes to eat at The Cheesecake Factory! I rotate between a few dishes, but I come back to this quite a lot :D It`s described on the website as a pasta with "Honey Glazed Chicken, Asparagus, Red and Yellow Peppers, Peas, Garlic and Onion in a Spicy Chipotle Parmesan Cream Sauce" :D It also comes with, what I believe is cilantro flakes, sprinkled all over top of the dish. It comes standard with penne pasta, but you can generally substitute any type of pasta with the one you like most :) They also add these crunchy cracker-chip strip like things on top that add a nice texture to the overall dish. I love the combination of the juicy chicken, crunchy asparagus and those cracker-chip strips, with the chewy pasta and peppers. It`s a parmesan sauce, but it doesn`t have that super cheesy, creamy, or thick taste or feeling that some parmesan sauces do. The slight spicyness from the chipotle sauce really balances everything out nicely! The dinner portion is quite expensive, I believe around $16-18, but they`re very generous with their portions. I took the leftovers in a box, and it lasted for another meal for my boyfriend and I :) If you want to try this, but don`t want to pay as much, try the lunch portion, or split it with a friend ^^
Out of all of the restaurants that give complementary bread, I think I honestly enjoy TCF`s bread the most! I think the 2 types they give you are pumpernickel (the brown one with oats on top) and sourdough bread (the white one). Both are delicious, but the pumpernickel is my favorite! It`s best when they give you the bread when it`s still warm :D Tastes amazing with just a little bit of butter <3
That`s it for this DOTN post! Hope you enjoyed it ^^ After finishing this post and describing all of the food, it makes me want to go again! :D My stomach is definitely growling :S
