I`ve been seeing and hearing about a lot of awesome clearance items at target recently, and its probably because of season change and retailers are trying to make room for new product lines and displays. which means, bye-bye old stuff!
I`ve been lurking around my local target to find impressively cheap makeup deals on stuff.
and I`ve been eyeing the marked down perfumes, specifically the britney spears midnight fantasy.
now, I didn`t love this perfume to begin with, but I absolutely love the original fantasy. and to see that midnight fantasy was marked down again to only $9.30, I couldn`t pass it up.
The bottle I bought was the biggest one they had at Target, 1.0 ounces (30 ml), and the plastic packaging was a nightmare to try and open.
It`s very sweet and fruity. like a syrupy, berry scent, its different than the original seeing as its not as cotton candy sweet. I`m still not sold on it, I actually see how the scent can sort of be headache-inducing. I`ll have to see how I feel about it.
I also bought a non-clerance item, an Up and Up, Target brand crease brush for a little over 2 dollars, much cheaper than the Sonia Kashuk blending brush I bought for 5 to 6 dollars.
comparing the two brushes (keeping in mind that I have the Sonia Kashuk pointed blending brush), the target brand one doesn`t have any resistance to the brush hairs and are very pliable where as the Sonia Kashuk brush`s ferrule is bent in a way where the hairs are much more densely packed and hold up better when pressure is applied. all of this meaning that both brushes blend in different ways. I`ll have to test them out to see which I like better.
but so far I`d say, between the two, save your 2 dollars for the Sonia Kashuk brush.
moral of the story, go on down to your local Target and don`t forget to check the clearance aisle!
and does anyone know of any cheap crease brushes that work well to do the job, I only own 2 of them and am looking for a better/cheaper alternative!
