Today I went to the mall to get a few more last minute presents for two of my friend`s birthdays, and one of the LOVES Charlotte Russe so I decided to get her a gift card from there. Charlotte Russe was hardcore letting me down today. There was like, 3 people running the whole store and they were all pretty rude. Also I learned they don`t keep a backstock (I was bummed because they had some adorable neon bandeau bras, and I wanted to get some for my BFF since she`s been on the hunt for awhile, but they were all too big), and there was so many people packed in there, you`d think they were giving things away!
Anyways, back to the gift card. So after waiting in line for like 20 minutes, I get up there and tell the lady I just want to get a gift card. She pulls out this "display" from under the counter, and told me to pick one. I`m not really sure what there was to be picked, they had just two yellow ones, this one and another that said something on it, what I don`t know since it didn`t really matter. I also think they should`ve taken more pride in their merchandise (Whether it be just a gift card or not), because the display and all the cards were dusty. And when she asked me how much I wanted to put on it, I said "$25" (I figured that was fair because I had already gotten this friend some other goodies), and she rudely replies "That`s IT? Ok then.." Just, wow. Also, they didn`t have sleeves for their gift cards! Just the card and nothing to put it in. Ok, so you know this is a gift right? How am I suppsed to inform the person how much is on it? I hope I don`t forget to tell her! The only good thing is that there`s no tax on gift cards :)
So, that was my lovely experience from Charlotte Russe. That place never really wows me anyways, I usually leave empty handed. Anyone else feel the same way? xox
