Charlotte Ronson A Summer`s Kiss Face and Body Glow: Swatch amp Review

I received a sample of Charlotte Ronson A Summer`s Kiss Face and Body Glow not too long ago from Sephora. It is basically meant to be a luminizer of sorts that adds a bit of a warm, sunny glow to your skin.

When I first saw the liquid after opening the sample packet, I thought this stuff would be too dark for my skin. It`s actually not, though - it blends away to almost nothing. I tried to see if it would work as a liquid bronzer on my face, but when I blended it out, it was barely perceptible, except for the glitter, which settled into my pores. >.<

I swatches this on my arm, as well, and it seems to be a bit difficult to get the glitter to disperse so that it`s not so...dense. Also, it rinses off with water (no soap required), which makes me wonder about how easily it would transfer onto clothes if used as a body luminizer. I`m guessing it`d transfer pretty easily.

Although the reviews for the full-size version of this product on the Sephora website are mostly positive, I didn`t like this product at all. I`m not sure if my sample was a dud, but I found this stuff to be difficult to apply evenly. The glitter is just TOO MUCH. The base is darker than my skin, but it blends away almost entirely when I try to spread it around. There is no way this would show up on anyone with skin darker than mine, which is most people! In the end, all you get is a glittery fluid. No thanks! :(
