Chanel Poudre Douce 20 Peche Tendre Review

I got this powder to set my new chanel foundation. To be honest I was not expecting it to be amazing, just expecting it to be an average translucent setting powder. Well, turns out it`s not and now I can`t live without it!

It comes in a beautiful black compact as you can see in the picture. The powder is very finely milled and can be a bit messy like most powders but definitely doesn`t go everywhere if you breathe of blow air near it.

It is fairly pigmented but doesn`t really give coverage of spots , marks, scars, dark circles etc. The color it has is just enough to balance you skin tone. So you either have to wear foundation under or do like I sometimes do, just apply concealer and set with a puff of this powder.

This powder gives a soft veils kind of look. It has tiny shimmery particles that illuminate your skin. It is NOT glittery at all. People with oily skin would frown upon this. However, I have the greasiest skin EVER! and with this powder I stay matter all day long.

It comes in soft velvety pouch and with a flat brush that I hate (I find it scratchy). The brush is good enough to travel with if you don`t want to carry a kabuki. That said, this is best applied with a brush as opposed to a sponge or powder puff, etc.

It is a very expensive powder compared to others (I think it was around $50). At first I wasn`t impressed and thought I wouldn`t repurchased... but now I think I will definitely go back to the Chanel counter for another one when I finish it :)
