Chanel, MAC and Boots Haul

Heyyyyy Luuuxxxxxeerrrrrssss,

I just want to quickly start off this post by apologizing as I am posting this Haul pretty late as I brought these things a couple of months ago/last year and have not had the time to write or put up the post, as I have been so busy with college work and exams and stuff. I feel quite bad as I had started this writing this post at some point towards the end of February or beginning of March. Any way enough of me blabbering on, on with the Post...

Hope you are all well :D
So I just wanted to post a mini collective haul that I have collected and hauled recently (a couple of months ago) :) So in my haul I have been to my local Chanel Counter/Counters, Mac and Boots.

Okay so the first few things in my haul are a few chanel products, which I shall list and review below. I have hauled 2 items from Chanel:

The first thing I got from my local chanel counter was the POUDRE SIGNÉE DE CHANEL ILLUMINATING POWDER from the PRINTEMPS PRÉCIEUX DE CHANEL collection, which is the new spring make up collection. When I first saw and swatched the highlighter, I was like "Oh my gosh! This highlighter is absolutely beautiful, I need this". First thing I will say is I don`t want to touch it! It`s too pretty to touch, this is because the powder has beautiful camellias, the iconic double C`s logo and lipsticks stamped onto it. Another reason why I don`t want to touch it is because unfortunately the pattern fades away as you use it :( Anyway the highlighter comes in a velvet pouch with a sponge applicator. I haven`t used the applicator yet, so there isn`t much to say about it I guess, other than it is soft :D haha :) Now back to the highlighter, I`d say that it is a soft warm pinky peach toned highlighter, that when swatched reminds me of Mac`s vanilla pigment as when reflected in the light it kind of has a soft dual tone of pink/gold, where as Mac`s vanilla pigment has a white/soft pinky peach/gold tone to it - so I suppose Vanilla Pigment could be a close dupe to the highlighter and is I guess also more affordable :). When swatching it at my local chanel counter I thought it had a beautiful silky soft texture. I would highly reccomend this highlighter. If you are wanting to purchase it then it costs £46/$68.

The next thing I got from my local chanel counter was Chanel`s VITALUMIÈRE AQUA foundation in 40 BEIGE. This is the second bottle of foundation that I am using as I only started wearing foundation last year when I was starting to buy make up for prom. The first foundation I had got for prom and quite liked was Mac`s mineralize satinfinish and I am the shade NC35 in that. Even though I have only tried one foundation before this one, I am quite fond of makeup products that give me a dewy, glowy look, so that is why I went for the MAC mineralize satinfinish foundation. However the VITALUMIÈRE AQUA is very different to the MAC foundation that I used, as it is a matte finish foundation. You may be wondering why I changed my foundation after one bottle, but this was becasue I was looking to try something new as I am kind of new to foundations so I like to experiment and try things out to see what I like. Even though I do prefer a dewy/glowy finish to my make up products that I use, I do like the VITALUMIÈRE AQUA as it makes my skin feel soft and I would also say that it gives me a good coverage, but then again I don`t have many spots anyway. I love the smell of the foundation as it has a fresh floraly scent to it, and I would suggest that if you are not a big fan of scented make up then I wouldn`t recommend this foundation. Oh yeah in my picture you will probably see that the foundation looks quite orange on my skin and you are probably wondering, whhatttt? why on earth did she buy a foundation that Is obviously too orange? well, that could probably be due to 2 things - 1) lighting as I had flash on or 2) I did not blend it in to the back of my hand well (I`m going with 2 :D)

The next place I went to is MAC, so I only brought 2 eyeliners, the first one was a plain black kohl pencil in the shade Feline, which just a plain black, quite intense eyeline (not that exiting, haha :D ) The next eye pencil I got was one of the Pearlglide eyeliners in the Shade: Lord it up. Okayy so if you have seen my posts before then you know that I love love loveee the pearlglide eyeliners by MAC, they are (as the name suggests) lovely intense eyeliners with a hint of pearlescent shimmer. Lord it up is a really pretty brown colour with an amazing shimmer in it and they swatch and wear really nicely as they are really soft and easy to apply ( I have swatched it in one of my pictures) If you like slightly shimmery eyeliners or soft eyeliners that are quite intense then I would highly recommend these eyeliners :D I love these so much that I believe that I have nearly all of the Pearlglide intense eyeliners.

After MAC I then went to boots and I only got one thing from there which was a pack of eye rock crystal tattoos in a really pretty sparkly, to be honest I don`t know how to describe the colour other than multicoloured AB rhinestones. Basically these are rhinestones which you apply on your eyelids and would look really pretty with a smokey eye (like in the picture) Let me know if you want to see pictures of what they look like when they are on, and when I do wear them for an occasion or something I`ll put up a new post :D

Sooo that it really for this Haul, I hope you liked it
Thank you, see you in my next post
Byyeeee :D xxxxxx
