Celebrity Hair: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

After Anne Hathaways Les Mis inspired hair cut took top prize in the Most Influential Film Haircut poll run by the Hairdressing Council of Great Britain and Universal Pictures, we thought it was time to take a look at 2013s best chops so far. In her role as the doomed Fantine in the film adaptation of the musical, Hathaway took home an Oscar and inspired a whole new wave of pixie crops. The stunning cut showed off the actress` impeccable bone structure, and whether you love or hate her, it is safe to say that this is one is keeper. In celebration of the film inspired hair awards we have put together a list of the good, the bad and the ugly styles of 2013 so far.

The Good

Oh Jennifer Lawrence, can you do no wrong? The Hunger Games star recently chopped off her long locks in favour of a choppy, tousled bob and we think it looks amazing! Never one to shy away from controversy, Lawrence apparently decided to take the plunge just hours before a red carpet appearance. Flattering and easy to style, this look definitely reflects the star`s own breezy attitude.

The Bad

Hmm we have always been a fan of Gagas more outrageous looks but this one just doesnt seem to hit the mark. The platinum blonde bob is apparently the result of years of hair damage leading to the Born the Way Star having to get a chemical haircut. Take note Little Monsters, hair dye and excessive styling may seem cool but hair damage really is not!

The Ugly

Forgive me for joining the growing ranks of people asking what has happened to Amanda Byrne but when I saw this photo it was hard not to feel sorry for the former child star. After a strange few months and a selection of tweets that would make even Rhianna blush, Byrne was spotted rocking some questionable extensions in LA. The matted look is definitely not one that we will be copying any time soon, along with the pouty lips.
