Caribbean Curry Shrimps

you will need the following Ingredients and items

One pan, bowl, spoon, knife, cutting broad,

2 lbs Fresh Shrimp

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 Medium Onions, sliced

1/4 of a scotch bonnet pepper, finely chopped up

2 cloves garlic, chopped

1/2 sweet pepper, sliced

2 tablespoons Curry Powder

1 Tomato, chopped

Fresh Thyme

1/4 teaspoon salt

black pepper

1 1/2 cups water


Peel, devein, and wash shrimp.

Heat oil in a large pan or dutch pot. Add the curry powder and continue to fry for two minutes. Then add the tomatoes, sweet peppers, salt, pepper, garlic and thyme.

Then add water, bring the water to a boil then reduce. Add shrimp. You can add more thyme as well, I always do. Heat and

simmer for 10 minutes or until shrimp is cooked.

Serve with white rice, veggies, and fried plantains.
