Cappuccino Cheesecake

I`ve been wanting to make cheesecake for a long time now since I`ve had my first slice of cheesecake a few years back and since have fallen in love with cheesecake. The only flavor I have tried so far is just the plain of cheesecake. And since I`ve had enough of that I decided to make one that I have never tried before. So being a big coffee lover, to flavor deserts that is, I decided to look for recipes that contains coffee in them. I happened to see a lot of recipes that infuses the coffee flavor into cheesecakes. So I just randomly chose one that looks simple enough to make.
I forgot which recipe I looked up online but I just typed in cappuccino cheesecake and there were tons of it. So if you want to try one just type it in and pick one that you think suits you. So I went to Safeway and bought all the required ingredients and their cream cheese were on sale too at that time I was there. So I came home with all the ingredients and started to make it. I followed the directions and after I was done mixing the batter, I put it in the oven and waited for it to bake for a about an hour. This of course was my first time baking a cheesecake and after it was done, there was no crack at all. But, yes, there`s a but. While I was letting the cheesecake cool, I forgot to use a knife to separate it from the sides of the pan, thus resulting with a crack in the center of the cake. If I had done that earlier, I think there would`ve been no cracks at all. I couldn`t eat the cheesecake right away yet cause the direction called for chilling time. So I patiently waited till the next day to have a slice. It was pretty good with the exception that it had a sour after taste due to the sour cream. It wasn`t that bad but I would`ve preferred it without the sour aftertaste. The one thing I did noticed is that after leaving it in the fridge for another 2 days, there were no sour after taste at all and the coffee taste was even more present. So next time when I make this again I will substitute the sour cream with plain yogurt and add more coffee granules to enhance the coffee flavor even more and also let it sit in the fridge for two days before serving it. Or I might just try another recipe all together since I have found another one which calls for the use of whipping cream instead of sour cream but at the moment when I made this one I didn`t have any whipping cream and forgot to purchase it. It was only till I got home that I remembered I was supposed to get Even though I made a shopping list. I don`t know what I was thinking at that
