Every time I go to Costco or Best Buy, I would browse the DSLR/camera section and stare at the new cameras such as the Nikon D5100, Canon T3i and as I was looking online Canon just released the Canon T4i DSLR. This is freaking ridiculous (for consumers) because there is ALWAYS updating technology, models!
The highlight of this Canon T4i DSLR is that it`s the first touchscreen digital SLR camera. I have always thought how come these digital SLR cameras didn`t have a touchscreen like other cameras but now it does.
Highlights of this camera:
Will capture better quality photos and videos even if it`s low-light
Back light control
Handheld night scene
Scene intelligent auto
When is the camera available to purchase? End of June for about $849.99 just for the body, $949.99 kit or a movie kit bundle for $1199. I am sure it`ll be a little cheaper once it hits Costco too.
Are you getting overwhelmed with new models coming every year on phones, cameras, computers, laptops, and so forth? Do you think having a touchscreen for a DSLR is useful? I like the idea of a touch screen but I think for me, I prefer buttons because the camera is already bulky, I don`t mind the extra buttons plus when you shoot during the sun sometimes the screen is hard to see so if you have physical buttons it would be easier. Just my opinion but I am sure it may change once I get my hands on this camera to test it out!
