I always like to look for new exercises and while googling, I came across calisthenics. It consists of simple and often rhythmical movements often without the use of equipment. The goal is to increase one`s body strength, balance, agility, coordination and flexibility through bending, jumping, swinging, twisting or kicking using only one`s body weight. You may be familiar with these sorts of exercises already as lunges, jumping jacks, push ups, sit ups, crunches, pull ups, squats, calf raises, dips and flutter kicks are examples of calisthenics. I have done all of those minus flutter kicks as shown in picture 2. I am not sure if I could bend like the woman in picture 1, but it`d be something if I could.
Did you know those exercises were considered calisthenics?
Have you done any of them before?
Are you as flexible as the woman in picture one? If so, show me your moves haha j/j
