A while ago when the weather cooled down in a Sunday afternoon I decided to make a nice and warm orange cake (I love to bake cakes when the weather gets colder, anyone else?!).
This recipe is amazing because the cake always comes out high and fluffy and you only need to:
Beat four egg yolks with two cups of sugar. Then you add two cups of flour, two tablespoons of bakers yeast, the juice of two oranges and zest.
In the end put the beaten egg whites and thats it!
Put in the oven at a temperature of 160ºC until it becomes baked (almost 30/35 minutes).
If you want you can sprinkle the cake with more orange juice (in this time I didnt put).
As you can see we couldn`t resist a slice before the picture!
