I would like to stress that i adore clothes. I literally could talk about them all day. I love assisting on shoots, seeing how things get put together, how accessories and different colours and textures can affect a whole outfit. I love stripes, leopard print, pastels, denim, floaty fabrics, structured pieces, 70`s influences, sequins, pink , gold, mink, beige, cream, brown, everything!! Im not the biggest fan of black, simply because everyone seems to wear it, and there is no colour variation. That being said, it is incredibly flattering, and there is nothing quite like a little black dress, which will take you through every season.
Im a huge accessories fan- i really do see an outfit as a blank canvas, and accessories are like the pieces to a puzzle. i love hats, funky tights, gold jewellery, interesting belts, and sunglasses.
I will be posting `buys of the week` where i will be sharing all the things i have been purchasing with you :)
This week, I have been LOVING Primark. I know its not to everyone`s taste, especially as some of the fabrics and cuts are not always the best. However, I think they are spot on and very current with trends, and, if you have a passion for fashion and a good eye, you can always find something. The playsuit I wore on a night out a few weeks ago- so many people asked me where it was from, and were totally gobsmacked when i told them it was primark!! heres the best bits.......
The bag was about £8, i loved the small boxy shape. I wanted it to be unique, so i added my favourite Pucci scarf, I rather like it!
These shoes are amazing!! Only £16, they look rather expensive! I love the loud blue mixed print, and ladies i think you will all agree that there is nothing quite like a platform heel!!
This blouse has a fab 70`s feel, puffed sleeves, and a ruffled neckline, and the cream colour is very versatile. It would look fab with a pair of jeans and some brogues, or team with an A line skirt for a more formal look. I will be wearing this with jeggins and heels with my Mulberry postbag for dinner with the girls :)
Its important to remember that clothes dont have to be expensive, its how you wear them that makes them look good. I love love LOVE designer clothes, but i really do like it when people wear a great mix of both high street and designer. Anyone could go to Topshop or Prada and dress from top to toe, but not everyone can mix both to create a unique look. That is what I determine as stylish, someone who can do just that :)
