Knackered is one of Butter Londons pretty well known polishes considering it is so unique. /viz/butter-london-haul-knackered-trout-pout I would say it is a sheer, grayish blue/purple duochrome polish with lots of iridescent micro glitters. Depending on the lighting, Knackered looks anywhere from a gray jelly based with holo glitters to a bluish purple duochrome foil polish. As you can see, its extremely unique and hard to describe! Unfortunately though, Knackered is an extremely sheer polish, and if you know me I really dislike buying sheer polishes. I used 3-4 thick coats in the pictures, but more can be used to reach absolute opacity. For the amount of coats, Knackered dries relatively quickly, as I find most of BLs polishes do. Application is smooth and buttery (lol sorry) like I would expect a $14 polish to be. So although I really wish it was much more opaque and only needed about 2 coats, I still love Knackered. I think if it was more opaque, the duochrome would be even more prominent and would give the polish more depth, but it still is a gorgeous, unique shade the way it is.
