Butter London HRH amp Powder Room Remover

I have been wanting to pick up a bottle of Butter London polish for ages now and on Monday I made a trip to Bamberg, a city about thirty minutes from where I live to track a bottle down. They carry Butter products here in Germany at a store called Douglas. I had my heart set on Black Knight but sadly they didnt carry it in the store, as it was only available on the website. Henley Regatta looks amazing but it was just too similar to one of the Deborah Lippmann Dance Music special edition glitters that I already have and I really try to stick to colors that I dont already have something similar to. Then HRH caught my eye since I have kind of been into purple lately and I dont have much of it in my collection. So it was decided that HRH (16.95) was coming home with me. Even my husband liked it! lol I also went ahead and picked up a bottle of Butters Powder Room Acetone Free Remover (4.95) as well since my husbands cousin had told me good things about it.

Yesterday I decided to go ahead and paint my nails with HRH. I started with a base of my Essie Sensitivity Base Coat and initially applied two coats of HRH. With two coats I achieved pretty good coverage but since I tend to do thinner coats I felt that a third was needed. The third coat did the trick and HRH looked beautiful, especially once I finished it off with my Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat. Butter seems to have a really nice formula and it goes on quite nicely. I just wish that the brush were slightly fuller so that it could hold a little more polish and that the brush handle were a bit bigger as well since I think it would make it a little easier to use. Now I`m just wondering how one of my Zoya Fleck Effects will look over it. Perhaps I will have to find out after I enjoy HRH on her own for a few days.

I would say that my first experience with Butter London was a success and I will definitely be inclined to purchase more in the future as I am still planning on getting my hands on Black Knight. I am also doing a trade with my cousins husband in Canada. She purchased Butters Big Smoke and just didnt love it once she put it on since it was just a bit too dark for her liking. Anyhow, have you tried Butter London products? If so what colors and what do you think of them?
