An American Council on Exercise (ACE) study found that the average person can burn 400 calories in just 20 minutes with a kettlebell. This equates to 20 calories a minute, similar to calories burned running a six-minute mile! This is because kettleballs simulate functional movement (like in real life) as opposed to dumbells.
