Want a quick, simple, affordable yet delicious meal? I would recommend ravioli with grilled chicken! This is one of my boyfriend and I`s favorite meal to make and since we had extra time, we made homemade smoothies (and froze some for later).
- We made homemade smoothies together. We used blueberries, frozen strawberries, 100% cranberry juice and orange sherbet. We basically eye balled our ingredients (few scoops of blueberries, strawberries, cranberry juice (half way) and one spoon of orange sherbet. We used our magic bullet to make the delicious smoothies!
- Buitoni Four Cheese Ravioli - purchased this ravioli at Vons. I would normally go for Spinach & Cheese but I couldn`t find any. This ravioli is very easy to cook, you boil for 7-9 minutes then drain. I heated up Trader Joe`s organic Tomato & Basil marinara sauce then poured the ravioli in. While the ravioli is boiling, I cut up some Honey Wheat bread and diced tomatoes for side bruschetta topped with mozzarella cheese.
- We marinated the chicken breasts a night before with garlic powder, olive oil, salt and pepper. My boyfriend grills our meat on the George Foreman for 6-7 minutes.
Overall: Dinner was delicious and I can`t wait to eat this for lunch leftovers tomorrow!
