Description: "Chiffon blouse with pearlescent buttons, two chest pockets with buttons, and 3/4-length sleeves with tab and button."
The light-weight silk/chiffon blouse is a great transition piece betwene summer and fall as it can be styled as cool and causal, as well as sophisticated and chic. For me, this is a major closet staple, but I really wasn`t willing to pay the $100+ taht most department store brands ask. Those blouses are indeed amazing, but when you`re shopping on a budget for such a popular piece, there are definitly bargins/dupes to be found!
I love H&M`s version of this blouse because it drapes beautifully and looks way more expensive than the $29.99 price tag. I love that the arms can be folded up and secured with a fixture as well as wore at full lenght. The gray picture above is lovely but I think the cream color one is the star of the show. It looks great worn loose over colored denim or tucked into a pencil skirt. I would go a size up from what you usually are, because the whole point of this piece to to create an air of effortless chic.
Be warned that H&M makes MANY versions of this blouse, but this is the only one that I have found to truly be worth picking up. The material on the other ones look cheap and are ridiculously sheer. Make sure to pick up the one that is $29.99 and has pearlized buttons. Happy Shopping!
