Breakfast Caserole

Ok, well first off let me say, I dont actually have a picture of the caserole I made this weekend, but it was delicious and I wanted to share the recipe. So- the source link has nothing to do with my recipe, I just needed to add a picture:)

My family came in from out of town for the weekend and to make things easier I made a caserole ahead of time to reheat! It is super simple so you dont really even need the picture! Here is what I did:

1 LB (1 pack) Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage (I used regular- not spicy!)
4 Cups (1, 1LB bag) or shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 Bag of Frozen Hash Browns
4 eggs
2 cups of Milk

What to Do:
-Cook Sausage in a pan on the stove. Once it is fully cooked, Crumble it onto the bottom of a 9X13 baking dish.
-Mix together Eggs and Milk. Be sure to beat the eggs well and mix in the milk really good.
-Pour egg and milk mixture over the sausage
-layer the cheese on top of that
-add the hashbrowns over that
-cook for 45 min- 1 hour at 350 degrees- make sure the hashbrowns are golden brown and crispy

This recipe is so easy! It is also delicious for dinner. I tried it out before I cooked it for my family- No one specified to me, so I didnt cook the sausage first I just layed it raw on the bottom of the pan (Dont judge me). It was fully cooked so we didnt get sick, but it didnt tast too good and it served weird- so be sure to cook the sausage THEN crumble it on the bottom of your dish!

This reheats very well- just be sure to reheat it in the oven to re-crisp the hashbrowns!
