Breakfast amp Lunch: Congee

My mom made plain congee at home with the leftover rice. She learned a recipe for ground pork and preserved vegetable dish from a friend who told her it`s great with congee so she made that today. I don`t know what the preserved vegetable is called, but it has a salty flavour and a bit of a crunch when you bite into it. Although it may not seem like it in the photos, my mom`s plain congee tastes good and I had some for breakfast and lunch today.
