This is a super simple steak recipe that my mom taught me. I used the thinner steaks, these were long pieces of steak probably a little more than a foot long, and i cut each one (there were 3) into 3 even pieces. I seasoned the steaks with a little salt, pepper, oregano, garlic salt and adobo but you can season yours however you want! I let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour than to the cooking!! I cracked & beat one egg in a plastic container, and in a seperate plate i put breadcrumbs that i had done from a hard bread we purchased some time back. I dipped the steak in the egg, than coated it with the crumbs, and than i put them to cook. One a frying pan i put enough oil to cover the bottom so that the steak doesnt stick, low-medium heat and turn over occasionally so they dont burn. Cook till golden brown. If you notice that your breadcrumbs on your steak are looking ashy (the only word i can think of to describe it. lol) than you need to put in a little more oil. I think you could use butter as well if you dont want to use oil. And i know there are also bread crumbs sold at stores that you dont have to make and some come with seasoning mixed in so you dont have to season the meat.
-Have you ever tried breaded steak??
