On Thursday, February 28th, the Nevada State Athletic Commission fined and suspended boxer Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. for failing a drug test from last year. The 27-year-old boxer was fined $900,000 and suspended for nine months after tested positive for marijuana in September after his first professional loss. Luckily, the Nevada State Athletic Commission could have banned him for one year and fined him up to 100% of his earning ($3 million) for his middleweight title fight against Sergio Martinez.
1)Do you guys watch boxing?
2)Do you think the punishment was fair?
