I`m reviewing the Bio Détox Foundation from Bourjois.
I bought it from Clube Fashion a few months ago for 10.
What says Bourjois: "This foundation perfectly evens out the complexion, minimizing pores` appearance and concealing imperfections.
Enriched with chlorophyll from plants that brings oxygen and filters pollution, it leaves the skin pure and fresh.
Its formula melts onto the skin for a no mask effect."
They also say it`s oil-free and anti-shine.
The bottle comes with a pump, I find it more hygienic and you can easily dosage the amount of product you want.
I like to research swatchs before I buy something, so I order 54`s shade. Plus it was winter time, so i was pretty pale.
Order shade 54 was a mistake because this foundation oxidizes. So, minutes after I apply it on my face, it turned darker and a little orange, but I didn`t know it so whatever.
Also this foundation is the hardest to apply. It instantly drys, so blending this is really hard. The skin looks so fake that remembers me Snooki`s make up. lol It looks like a mask.
Because it`s oil-free, my t-zone starts to shine later, comparing with others foundations, but when it comes out it`s horrible.
Although I didn`t like it, I have to find another way to use this, because I don`t like to spend money in something and then trow it away.
So my solution was spray tonic on my foundation brush ( I use Sigma`s F80 or a Duo Fiber brush) and apply the Bio Détox with that brush.
It went so well, I really liked it. My face looked flawless, not caky at all. The orangy tone isn`t that noticeble and doesn`t look like a mask anymore. The problem is that it`s darker than my winter shade and lighter than my summer shade (as you can see in on of the photos).
I am not repurchasing this again.
