This whole breakfast was less than 300 calories. Not kidding. It looks like it would be WAY more than that, right?
A few months ago I found this cute cooking blog called Chocolate Covered Katie! This girl prides herself on making delicious desserts that are also healthy! I finally decided to try out two of her recipes: the Vanilla Chai Breakfast Shake and Banana Bread for One.
Both of them were really easy to make and tasted great! The chai shake was probably my favorite out of the two! It was so rich and creamy when I mixed in a bit of lite Cool Whip :3
The muffin and cupcake recipes she has are great because they are for one or two cupcakes! I love this because if I make a whole batch I just end up eating like 4 of them, which is horrible!
The only complaint I have is that her recipes call for very VERY ripe bananas. I`m not a huge fan of the flavor bananas seem to get after they brown and I kind of tasted that in the muffin and shake. Next time I`ll just make sure I mush up yellow bananas and used them instead.
