Boston Jewellery Haul
I was visiting Boston with a bunch of friends a few weekends ago, and a large group of us ended up going to Newbury Street for shopping. If you dont know (I certainly didnt before this trip) Newbury is one of the more popular shopping areas in downtown Boston. It is a mix of higher end stores, boutiques, and stores you would find at the mall.
I wasnt really looking to buy anything, so I was trying to be good in terms of spending money of stuff I dont need. LOL
I was being really good until we got to H&M. Once we were there, I was perusing the jewellery section when I noticed this amazing necklace. It has big geometric shapes and it is a statement piece for sure. I loved it, so I decided to get it! I wore it to a party that weekend in Boston and got TONS of compliments on it :)
Ive since found out that they also have it in a prismatic white, so Im debating whether I should go get that one as well!
Later, towards the end of Newbury, we came across a boutique jewellery place called So Good, and there were some tempting items in there as well. Since I had just bought the necklace, avoided more jewellery, even though they had some FANTASTIC pieces. I settled on 2 headbands that have a ribbon threaded through some chain. Having really curly hair, I use headbands like these to keep my hair slicked back at work. These are a lot neater looking than my elastic ones, and so they are more office appropriate. Since the store was having a sale, a lot of items were half price, so the 2 headbands together were around 9 dollars (which is the regular price for one).
At the cash, I noticed a little container of toe rings for 2 dollars. They are simple, with 2 intertwined crystals, and being that I have a bit of an obsession with toe rings, I decided to get one.
What do we think of my Boston buys?
