Heyy luuuxers! I have a great BB cream to share with you guys. I`ve never been too big of a fan of BB creams because I`m a lot darker than most of the shades out there. But this one actually matched me pretty well. If you don`t know what BB cream is, it stands for Blemish Balm that is suppose to help even out your skin tone, anti wrinkle, lighten scars and help with acne, has a high SPF. However, those characteristics refer to the Asian BB creams.
These days, everyone including Mac, Boscia, Dr. Brandt, and other non Asian based companies are making BB creams. There are slight differences between the two. The biggest difference is the coverage. The Asian BB creams are very much like a cream form and have excellent coverage but leaves a `gray` cast on your face sometimes. The one I`ll be reviewing today has a tinted moisturizer consistency and has light-medium coverage.
Unlike the Asian BB creams, this does not have a floral scent to it which is good for my acne prone skin. I didn`t notice any anti-wrinkle properties written on this tube either so there are some down sides to it. But for lazy days, this is my go-to BB cream. After I finish this deluxe sample, I`m going to purchase a full sized one because the shade blends in with my skin very well. However, the SPF isn`t nearly as high as the Asian brands (usually 45 PA++).
Have you tried BB creams from the US and Asia? What do you think of these products?
