Two weeks ago i participated in an on-campus workout group known as boot camp. One of my counselors told me I needed to go and give it a shot so i did.
It was about an hour long give or take and it was pretty rigorous, I was expecting it not to be so hard (i don`t know why).
We started by jogging around the gym I don`t remember the time but it took 5 laps.
Then we went around to different activities.
Which involved planks, lunges (with 10lb weights), Chair lifts, Jumping rope and something called "Rock climbing" where you put your weight on a chair and bring yours knee`s as high as you can to your chest.
We started doing them for one minute, then time increased as we went on. To cool off we did 5 minutes of basic stretching including toe touches.
It was a lot of fun, but it was extremely painful.
The next day I had a hard time walking for the next 5 days I could hardly walk at all. It was terrible!
Let me say I have not been to Boot Camp since, partially because I`ve been so busy with school work and play practices.
Have you ever exercised to much your body has hurt for a week?
