i recently went to Barnes & Nobles to pick up some new books and i came across The perks of being a wallflower by stephen chbosky. i heard a lot of great things about this book but then again i heard great things about 13 reasons why and that was a terrible read but thats another story. i decided to read for myself so i picked up a copy. let me give you guys a little summary. the book is written in letters. its basically this boy named charlie writing letters to an unknown person about his life and problems. at first i thought that that would bother me but after reading it didnt really bother me. charlie is a freshman in highschool so when i read some of the things that he wrote for me it was a little too naive and unrealistic for a 15 year old boy. he seemed too childish but aside from that it is a good book. its not a captivating, thrilling book where you have to know what happens next;however, it is a great easy read that just puts a smile on you face. i finished reading this in 3 days its very sweet and simple and if you enjoy light hearted books about friendship then i would def. check out this book
