This here is another post I`ve been meaning to get up here for a while now, but better late than never, right? I purchased this Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold at CVS while they were on sale with some ECB`s associated with the purchase. I will say I was a little hesitant to get this one because I have a cream shadow by Mary Kay (it`s an Apricot) which is very similar to the shade in the pot by Maybelline. The Maybelline Color Tattoos are supposed to be a great dupe for MAC Paint Pots -- unfortunately I can`t be the judge if they are a good dupe since I do not own any paint pots. But what I can say is this shade is stunning. It does wear a little lighter on my skin since my skin is pigmented, but it can easily be built up -- but I tend to like it very mellow to give me that daytime appropriate look. Bold Gold is exactly as the name entails - a vibrant gold shade. The pigmentation will of course display differently on every skintone, but I feel the lighter skinned you are the more it`ll pop. The darker skinned you are, the more you`ll have to apply. It goes on smoothly and easily and does set relatively quickly. You can set these with a shadow over them, or you can wear as is. Just make sure you blend it out before you let it set if you`re going to wear it alone. I will say Bad to the Bronze is my favorite, but this is a nice shade to have in any collection.
Have you tried any of the Maybelline Color Tattoos? If so, what`s your favorite shade?
