Blue Nile is an online jewelry site that sells engagement rings, diamond, wedding bands, and fine jewelries. For Valentine`s Day - my boyfriend made some purchases for me because I have been wanting an Infinity Bracelet & Necklace for the longest time and I couldn`t justify spending that much knowing my bad luck with necklaces lately. I have been breaking necklaces left and right in the past year.
Let`s start off with:
The packaging for the necklace and bracelets are beautifully packaged in a magnetic closure/cushioned box. The packaging looks and feels expensive - I currently use this to store my other jewelry.
The cost is definitely cheaper than Tiffany`s but more expensive than costume jewelry but the material is better a bit. Now, that he`s made purchases with Blue Nile - he receives emails of coupon codes and what not. This site also offers free fedex shipping which is nice.
Price breakdown on the items I received:
Infinity Necklace in Rose Gold Vermeil - $95
Infinity Bracelet in Rose Gold Vermeil - $55
Infinity Bracelet in Sterling Silver - $50
I have been wearing my Infinity Necklace & Bracelet in Rose Gold Vermeil religiously for the past one month...
- The necklace is the perfect length at 20`, it isn`t too long nor too short. I feel there is room to breath for my neck. I have sensitive skin especially for my neck and this material does not give me any allergies or an allergic reaction which is a huge plus!
- As for the bracelet, it is a one size fit all at 7.5`. It is a loose fit and sometimes it gets on my nerves because it moves all over the place. Since this bracelet moves all over the place the charm hits when I`m writing, or when my hand is against the table which cause the rose plating to change colors to silver. Note: I had the bracelet for less than a week so that was a huge bummer. One of the companies representatives told me this shouldn`t happen again and they sent me a new one without charge and sadly, it happened again. I wouldn`t recommend this bracelet and if you do get it - in silver would be better because if the charm scratches then it`ll be silver still?
Overall: Blue Nile is a legitimate online website with great customer service. I`m more happy with the necklace then the bracelet.
