Right after I swatched the ELF Party Beauty Book that I bought at Walgreens for just $5, I instantly started playing with the shadows. I had to use this gorgeous matte bright blue shade, and I thought the gold shimmer was a nice contrast. OMG I love this look! I think I need to recreate it for Thanksgiving, I absolutely love the ease of these shadows, they are so smooth and pigmented. I would say they work best with short haired, flat shadow brushes - I tried to use a fluffy blending brush to work the crease and it created a ton of fall out. That`s pretty typical with ELF shadows, dense brushes and patting motions work best with how soft and light these eye shadows are.
Since the colors don`t have names, I numbered the shadows and created a guide to how I did this look. I used the eye liner pencil that came in the book, all along my upper lash line and on my waterline. The mascaras I used are the black and blue Dior Diorshow waterproof mascaras, I used black on the top and a mix of black and blue to make navy on the bottom.
