Birthday Dinner: Olive Garden

Since it was my mom`s birthday yesterday, we wanted to eat at a restaurant we haven`t eaten at in a while, which my mom loves. Olive Garden is a bit on the pricey side, but their portions are huge and pasta is always super filling.

I ordered from the mini menu that was set on the table. My order was the Never Ending Pasta Bowl! :) I always think that Olive Garden`s menus are so helpful when it comes to counting calories. I don`t normally count how many calories I eat because I know I`m going to go over my limit no matter what. I looked at the Never Ending Pasta Bowl and it`s only $9.95 for unlimited soup or salad and breadsticks, unlimited pasta, and with an additional $2.95, you get unlimited Meatballs or Italian Sausage. You seriously can`t beat that price. Once I saw it, my brother and mom ordered the same thing, except with different pastas, sauces, and meats.

I ordered the Whole Wheat Linguine (370 Calories) with Five Cheese Marinara Sauce (190 Calories) and Meatballs (130 Calories). With a total of 690 Calories for the price of $12.90 and unlimited pasta, salad, and meatballs, you seriously can`t get anything better. Unfortunately, I was too stuffed after the salad, breadsticks, and one bowl of pasta, I couldn`t ask for another serving. Now I know why it`s called unlimited because they know you won`t be able to eat that much after one bowl. haha.

What is your favorite place to eat at?
What did you guys have for dinner?

Thanks for reading! :))
