This is what we have for our merienda(snacks) today at the office, check out the recipes below on how to make it! One of the best sweet snack dessert food in the Philippines is this bilo-bilo. Bilo-bilo is made by a rice flour turned into a small balls and cook with a coconut milk with a lot more ingredients, so here`s the the recipes and how to make it!
glutinous rice flour (to make a small balls)
sweet potatoes cut into cubes
jack fruit sliced
3 ripe banana
about a can of fresh coconut milk
half cup water
about a can of coconut cream
half cup sugar
pandan food flavourings
in a big saucepan put in the coconut milk, pandan flavourings and sugar stir and bring to boil, lower in the heat if it`s already boiling then add the sweet potatoes and wait ti simmer for 5 minutes but keep stirring then put in the rice flour balls and also still keep stirring to prevent from sticking together and it will float if the rice flour balls already cooked add the tapioca pearls then the jack fruit, if the rice balls already silky soft add the coconut cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes the serve.
