I don`t know about you, but I personally hate flying and anything associated with airports. It stresses me out from the moment I walk out the door to drive to the place. And it doesn`t help having to go through those invasive x-ray contraptions. Blech. I just hate it.
At least the people in Singapore have the right mindset. To ease the stress that flying brings, Changi Airport unveiled Slide@T3, which claims to be the tallest slide in Singapore. It is a pair of slides that twirl around Terminal 3.
For every $22 you spend at the terminal, you get two tokens to ride the four-story slide. Not interested in spending the money? There`s also a shorter slide that you can ride free of charge.
If I were alone at the airport I wouldn`t do it, but if I had a traveling companion I would be all for it. At least then I have someone to watch my luggage while I take a quick ride.
Would you go down the slide if you had a chance?
