This past weekend, I got to try the famous Bi-Rite ice cream. It is listed in the 7x7 big eats list, 100 things you must eat before you die in San Francisco. The famous salted caramel flavor is the one on the list and I can see why.

So for me I got the cookies n` cream and salted caramel. I liked the combination. Salted caramel was surprisingly good. The combination of sweet and salty goes so well together. At first it tastes a little weird but you can stop eating it because its a good weird.

My one gripe about this ice cream is that it melts too quickly. As soon as I step out the door, a lot of melting had already occurred. So you have to eat it quickly before it turns into a goopy mess. And the line is long. It goes pretty quickly but I personally just don`t like lines. If you`re picking up prepackaged ice cream though, there`s no line and you can just walk right in and pay.

So, have you guy tried salted caramel ice cream? If you have, how do you like it? If you haven`t, would you ever try it?
