Benefits of Veggies

I can safely say that the majority of people who would read this would be teens. As a teen, you must have 13 servings of fruits and veggies. That`s insane! I`m only 14 so I should be doing this too! Looking at an article on American Cheerleader ( my eyes actually opened. Here are some fruits/veggies you should have on your plate.

Broccoli: Believe or not, broccoli helps prevent cancer! It also helps prevent a stroke or a heart disease. I hate broccoli! It reminds me of little trees and I`m not very into nature like that but considering it prevents very harmful diseases and improves my health, I would totally consider it!

Carrots: This helps your vision and helps prevents food poisoning. This is my favorite veggie of all time!

Celery: Celery has a good source of potassium and controls blood pressure. Eating Celery by itself is disgusting! I love to eat it with either ranch dressing or filled with peanut butter. I recommend eating it with the ranch dressing just because it`s healthier but either one will do.

Potatoes: Potatoes are a great source of Vitamin B & C, potassium, and iron. This is easy to spot. Potatoes are used everywhere, Hash browns, french fries, baked potatoes, ect. This one is super easy!
