Benefit Erase Paste Vs. Bobbi Brown Corrector

I purchased Erase Paste by Benefit and used it first on my 16 year old niece that has a problem with really dark circles under her eyes and I have to tell you it was a miracle worker!!! The dark circles were not visible at all and she looked so much healthier, awake and beautiful. I put it on her before she went to school and before she went to wash her face before she went to bed I looked at it and it was still there. It had held up from 7am until 10pm without reapplying it once. I couldnt wait to try it on myself!

However when I did I was very disappointed. It settled in my fine lines and actually made them stand out even more then what they did when I used nothing. I tried several ways of applying this product as I was determined to make it work. I applied it and let it sit on my skin to warm up and then tried the smoothing it out with my finger tip, sponge applicator both dry and wet, a brush and I tried all of these together such as finger tip then follow that with a sponge or the brush then follow that with my finger tip. But sadly it made no difference. I finally gave up and gave my Erase Paste to my niece who was very excited to have it. So for the young women I give it a rating of 5 out of 5 but for the mature women I give it a 1 out of 5 and I give it the 1 because it did cover the dark circles.

I then purchased Bobbi Brown corrector and I found my miracle in a jar! I apply it with my Bare Escentuals Precision Concealer brush to one eye then the other eye, being sure to get it into my lash line, then go back to the first eye as its had a chance to warm up, I then pat it out with my finger tip and if needed I may gently rub some areas that didnt smooth out nicely. This actually hides my fine lines and wrinkles. I will purchase over and over again. So for the mature women I give this a rating of 6 out of 5 and I give it 1 point over scale as anything that actually hides my fine lines deserves to be given a rating off of the charts!!
